Harris & Agata

Love got dressed in white, and a beautiful couple traveled from London to Athens to share with us the sweetness of the first, formal, day of their common life! The wedding of Harris and Agata brought us to New Heraklion, a green oasis of the urban landscape of the capital, and we, at Broderie Anglaise, let the blooming nature inspire us!

The original idea of the bride, selecting the olive as the central element in the adornment, was the basis on which we built our own maypole of suggestions for this wedding project. White roses, among small olive branches, and an ivy that was falling lightly to the earth, gave a sense of freshness and elegance to the candles, the corridor, as well as the general decoration of St. Luke, leading the steps of the glamorous, in her fairytale wedding dress of “Pronovias”, Agata.

After the Orthodox ceremony was also done in the church of Saint George, the couple had prepared for their distinguished guests a dreamy evening at the estate of “Vineyards Mark”. There, the decor which we prepared, preserved the style and many of the elements that existed at the wedding ceremony. Thus, the stone and wood tied harmoniously to the olive leaves, which, dominating the compositions, decorated the tables and the entrance of the beautiful space.

The minimal and glamorous aesthetics of the result enthralled the happy couple and their favorite guests, while a wonderful party was the perfect closing of this special day!

Harris and Agata, we wish your love will always be bathed in the light of the everlasting olive tree that sealed your wedding day!

Special thanks το Wedding Skyros for the wonderful pictures.
