Leonard’s parents chose the nautical theme for his christening.
The navy knots and the blue and red color fit perfectly with the blue polka-dot pattern and were used in the decoration, the baptism set and the candy bar also! The result was chic, serious and playful at the same time!
In the chapel of Nikoleli estate, the baptismal font was adorned with a hand-made navy rope in white and blue. The, also, hand-made women’s testimonial bracelets with a navy knot and a buckle with a small anchor, and the men’s in boutonnieres, matched perfectly the navy theme.
For the decoration of the tables we used white pots with babys’ breath, decorated with a navy rope and tags for numbering the tables. Beautiful details, such as cardholders with the name of each guest, place mats and cards for wishes instead of the “wishbook”, were all designed for this particular baptism ceremony, by Broderie Anglaise!
The bonbonnieres: handmade gauze sachets, rosaries with the baptism boat for men and necklaces for women, completed the concept of the event! We could never forget though the little guests of this baptism. A candy bar full of biscuits, cupcakes, candy, dragées, lollipops and the all-time classic “vanilla submarine”, waited for the young guests at the reception venue.
At the end of the baptism, all kids left with a candy box filled with delicacies, markers and drawing papers, as a gift to remember the special day of Leonard!
